I have been reminded that a person with a vision does not wait for anyone and must run against all odds. Those who are meant to join on the journey will catch up along the way.
Waiting for others to understand the vision and timing is like forcing food into a baby's mouth. It will eventually be spat out, and you'll be back to where you started or even worse.
It is 'HE' to whom the vision was given that understands the magnitude and urgency. Others may not understand and may not have much to lose. The visionary, however, has a limited time to make the vision a reality, or it may fade away.
To whom much is given, much is expected.
Even though you may know where you're headed, you'll only find your destination along the way. God talks in parables, so waiting for a full picture is often in vain. Sometimes, you may need to wait patiently for absolute direction from the Lord, but you must have started to walk.
To walk is to have stopped drinking milk and started eating bones. So, run with the little you have while you pick up the pieces of the puzzle that form your reality.
In conclusion, ask yourself these three questions:
What has God called you to do?
Are you ready for it?
Do you need help to accomplish it?
Remember, God called Moses, the man with the vision, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Your Aaron will come.
As you pursue your vision, God will raise soldiers for you and equip you with the resources you need. The Father never sends you to be left astray. If He has assigned you a task, it's because He knows you can do it.
Procrastination and a lack of self-worth often prevent us from achieving our vision. Believe in your vision and become it.
It starts and ends with you.
