Life is all about choices, we are as good as the decisions we make. Many, unfortunately, make the erroneous call because of the circumstances they find themselves in, while a few fortunate ones always seem to get it right. I rejoice with them.
A genuine test of faith/fate is standing tall against all odds and not being persuaded into making negative decisions that quickly leaves us the worst.
I know life can be truly unacceptable and cruel sometimes, but amid all that excitement and anxieties, keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 KJV)
Life is all about choices, some are good while others, most of the time, are bad. We just somehow always tilt towards the wrong choices and for #Christians, I'll charge that on our failure to seize the moment; taking full advantage of the grace given to us, as we sojourn in the same boat with the Lord.
For others, permit me to say that all that peer pressure, fear of the unknown, setting unrealistic goals and the endless feud between good and bad to mention a few will always leave you emotionally susceptible, thus creating a moment of chaos you soon fall into.
Whatever situation you find yourself in today is because of the choice you made yesterday. Many go through life with so much hurt and anger, and it is because of the choice of not simply forgiving the past and letting it go.
I can understand life isn't a bed of roses, but even in all of that truth, you can decide to lay your bed with pillows in it. It is a matter of choice. Perception is everything.
We've all made choices in life that somewhat took us off the radar, but thank God for grace, we can decide to retrace our steps and get back onto the map.
Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross so that you and I can have life and have it abundantly. Stripes took on His back, so we can be free from infirmities. He even became poor, so we can be rich. He made a choice centuries back you can still benefit from, but it's a matter of choice.
“Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.†— 2 Corinthians 5:17
By His grace, all that mistake, wrong-footing, destiny truncating choices you made in the past redeemed in a matter of seconds. All He has to do is say the Word and every force, both in the heaven and earth will work to obey His decree.
Life is all about choices and with Christ, you're bound to make better ones.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.†—Matthew 11: 28-30.
