Enlargement (I Will Die Empty)

Enlargement (I Will Die Empty)

Enlargement means expansion beyond your current limit. It is the action of becoming more extensive. As a child of God, it is an error to remain in one position and maintain a certain status quo for so long. We have been created to occupy and dominate the world. It is unacceptable to play second fiddle in a world given to us. There's so much light in us, enough for a lifetime to illuminate all the darkness evil sanctions our way, so we have no excuse for not living our best life and fulfilling that very purpose the Lord has invested quite a fortune in us (Roman 8:18-19).

What am I saying in essence? It is our responsibility when it comes to enlargement. No one else will be held accountable for our misfortune. I hear many persons blame God for their unpleasant circumstances forgetting when we point a finger at someone, the other fingers point back at us. God is ever faithful and will always do His part to put the food on the table, unfortunately, many still want Him to put the food in their mouth.

Everything we need to be great has been deposited in us, it is left to us to look inward and unravel the mystery — Our birth will forever be a mystery, and so is our destiny, find your path. It is our responsibility to discover what's in us that needs to be enlarged. God cannot enlarge emptiness. What do you have in your hands or within that can be enlarged? Ponder on that as I take this piece a notch further.

Why must we enlarge?

I. Not to waste the investment of God upon our lives — (Matthew 25:15-30)
2. Not to disappoint our generation.
3. Not to go back to the Father fully loaded.
4. To die empty —(The account of Paul)

It is quite unfortunate how the graveyard has become the wealthiest place. Many have enriched their grave because they failed to live out their script. They have disappointed themselves, family and God by wasting the investment in their life. They have gone back to the Father fully loaded when they should have died empty —To die empty is to have exhausted all our gifts, completed our assignments and to live a life worth emulating in Christ Jesus, leaving no stone untouched.

Keys to enlargement:

1. Discover yourself — (Habakkuk 2:1-2)

Life begins the day we identify who we are. The day we discover our true identity is the day we start living. It is for a specific purpose God has created us, and we cannot achieve our greatest potential until we discover it.

2. Take action — (2 Kings 7:1-8)

People who receive their breakthroughs are those who take steps. We can't wait for people to help us. We have to stand up and take responsibility for our own lives. It is an error for us not to take action and make excuses. As we take steps, God magnifies them and gives us beauty for ashes. Resolve today and the rest of your life by taking steps regardless of how little they may be. It's true what they say about not being built in a day but it started with placing the first brick, isn't it? Do something!

3. Focus — (Luke 10:38-42)

We are the most distracted generation. It is quite funny how we allow ourselves to get carried away by irrelevant things. Quit wasting precious time! We are not born to do many things. We have been created for specific functions and assignments. As I said earlier, it is our sole responsibility to discover the purpose for which we have been created, because that's the only way we can begin to win the battle of self, the battle over distraction and the uncertainties of life. Run away when you are tempted by sin. To you, it might just be a little sin but could cost you your destiny. Focus on things that matter, it pays to be focused.

4. Get knowledge — (Hosea 4:6)

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom and in all thy getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). Without the right knowledge, we cannot prosper in whatever vision we have. We need to be diligent in all that we do, it’s as simple as that.

5. Knowledge must be applied — (Galatians 4:17)

After acquiring knowledge, it must be applied. What good is all the wisdom in the world if not put to use? Today's most successful business empires started as a thought that materialized into a business plan. It doesn't matter what you have readily at your disposal, there's no shame in starting small. MOVE!

Never disregard the days of little beginnings. What matters at the end of the day is how well you put the applied knowledge to use. Wealth is not acquired in a day, it takes time. So, take your time, think, build and execute.

6. Know your source — (Daniel 11:32b)

God is the ultimate. He is the Alpha and Omega. He has created all things and in Him we find perfection. To be enlarged is to find favour with Him, be in Him and live for Him. Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

What is your relationship with the Father?
Can He say you're the man or woman after His heart like David?
Does He know you by your name as He knew Job?
Does He grant you access to His presence like He granted Moses?

One thing is constant with these three men, they knew their source and that's why they knew how to please Him. We know our mobile devices so well and that's why we can operate them without the manual. Know your source, know your God and you'll know how to fulfil your destiny.

Be enlarged and do exploits!
God loves you
