When Life Happens!

When Life Happens!

Focusing more on what you have and less on what you don’t have can bring joy into your life. However, this kind of thinking doesn't always come naturally. It requires a deliberate effort to engage in a mental battle against triggers and negative thoughts that arise.

Maintaining a positive internal and spiritual atmosphere is important if you want to attract the goodness and favour of Heaven and maintain a close relationship with the Holy Spirit.

If you find that you have lost your peace of mind and joy, take a moment to calm down and examine your thoughts. Check what you just heard or saw and how you are handling sudden changes in your circumstances.

This is not to say that we should simplify events that happen suddenly in our lives. It often takes a longer time to process such events. However, as long as we are alive, we must continue to live, love, believe, hope, and make the most of the time we have been given.

We may not always have control over the things that happen to us, but we can always control our reactions to these situations and take personal responsibility for how we handle them going forward.

The scripture says, “For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons… We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.”  (2 Cor. 10:3-5 TPT)

We are just a couple of days into the new year and this message couldn't have come at a better time. Wishing you an amazing year ahead!

Kolawole Solomon

When my pen bleeds, expressions are kept close to my heart, and as it bleeds the words from deep within through my writings, I discover I have created art. I display a piece of my soul. This is my work, my blood, and it should be an object of pride, no matter how much it is criticized or praised.
