What a wicked world filled with heartless and desperate souls he thought to himself, how could I have gone wrong for helping my fellow human in a time of need, he kept telling himself as he got approached by the policeman dressed in his all-black attire and ready to carry out the order.
The world is so evil and delusional, he said to him, or why else has she called for my arrest, when all I've tried to do is assist by accommodating her for the last 3 days? We all went out as a group of friends and she was allowed to join the mix so she doesn't feel left out and bored to death being all by herself at home and this is what I get?
She claims her date abused her and got away before she could say anything and believes it was a planned work and someone definitely has to pay for it, the policeman said bitterly.
Immediately he was done talking, Festus broke down in tears, dumbfounded and disappointed, not only in her or the situation starring at him in the face, but mostly in himself and couldn't beat himself up enough for allowing himself to get entangled with the devil in the red dress and can only pray for mercy and hope it exonerates him from this mess because he was only trying to help, he concluded.
MORAL:
I believe God is trying to speak to someone so I'll leave you with these five lessons.
1. Life is not always what we want it to be, we just move with the flow and hope it doesn't turn around to haunt us.
2. We may not always have control over who we love and choose to help, but we may have control over how we love and help. Approach every situation with caution and make sure it is the Holy Spirit that is really leading you.
3. Our emotions can either take us to heaven or hell and mine in this situation is most likely taking me to jail unless grace says otherwise. You do the math!
4. There are so many ways to help a homeless brother or sister, bringing them into our homes may not always be the best option especially when we are single and unmarried.
5. Finally, watch and pray.
