I had just put up a post on my status saying waiting on God. Went about my day only to come back to the post and felt a twinge in my heart and it was like, waiting on God? Or waiting with God? For many, they think they are actually waiting on God, instead, the position is actually waiting with God. You are not waiting alone, you are waiting with God for the fulfilment of that which you are believing for. The latter actually speaks of a journey of partnership, winning together with God and becoming all that he's spoken and shown you. What exactly does waiting with God entail? Imagine for a moment, a pregnant woman, at the hospital already, it's her due date, the doctor and nurses have come in to check on her and they say, we are waiting for you to be fully dilated, then we begin the process of delivery. There's a process to the delivery. There is a process, and it involves you. The outcome is already a done deal with the father. This is what it means to wait with God. You partner with the Spirit of God as he midwife you into delivery. So are you waiting on God or waiting with God? What is your position? How are you waiting with God? Are you aware he is with you? Can you hear his whispers as he urges you on into victory? Can you hear the nudging of the Spirit of God as he calls you into partnership? Wait with God. Victory is assured. Wait with the knowledge of the presence of the one that has called you to himself as his own. Wait with God.
Wait with the knowledge of the presence
