I Have Come To Testify Before The World — Obiora Obiwon

After a fainting incident on the 26th of June 2021, my doctor ordered a series of tests to ascertain the cause. My vitals were okay but my blood level and blood sugar were low. However seeing the result of the electrocardiogram test (ECG) for my heart function, my doctor insisted to redo the test by herself to ascertain the result she was seeing.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH), an inflammatory condition of the heart. After explaining the condition to me and what the journey could be from there on, she instructed me that I would have to go for the deeper echocardiogram (EKG) test and begin consultations with a cardiologist on how to proceed.

I got home and told my wife and my close family and I went to the Lord in prayer, smiling through my worry. He gave me His peace. I asked Him to do again, what His mercy and faithfulness had done before in my life and health. I believed Him that I would be back to the hospital to take tests that would confirm that I have a perfectly healthy heart. I promised that as my healing comes I would tell the world yet again of His healing power.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, I began to confess the revelations I have in the word of God for healing over my heart, as much as I could remember in my prayer time.

2022 so far was marked by all-around medical investigations for everything concerning my health. In May I started consultations with a cardiologist. She then conducted another ECG test. This time around my heart function came out normal. I was then placed on appointment for the deeper EKG test for full confirmation. After this procedure, she gave her final report: “Your heart is fine sir”.

Today on my birthday Lord Jesus as promised I have come to testify before the world - that You are, and that You are Healer. Thank You for showing me Mercy. Thank You, my Lord and my God.

When my pen bleeds, expressions are kept close to my heart, and as it bleeds the words from deep within through my writings, I discover I have created art. I display a piece of my soul. This is my work, my blood, and it should be an object of pride, no matter how much it is criticized or praised.
