The Market Place

The Market Place

"We waste valuable time lusting after things that would perish rather than the things that truly matter. What is most fascinating is the fact that we came with nothing and shall leave with nothing." â€”Kay Magnate

Life is full of twists and turns hence we sometimes struggle with maximizing the potentials of our true selves. We are often lost in the shadow of others as we allow religious doctrines, society standards, friends and family, even the lust for the things of this world to determine our happiness, forgetting that the world is just a market place and after the buying and selling, we will make our way back home.

Don't get too comfortable in this world, whether you live a day or are fortunate to live a hundred years, remember that the life you live is borrowed and sooner or later the owner will demand it of you with an account of how it has been utilized.

We waste valuable time lusting after things that would perish rather than the things that truly matter. What is most fascinating is the fact that we came with nothing and shall leave with nothing. The wisest man to grace the earth called it Vanity upon vanity and as I grow daily I see the truth in it. My advice is to seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness so that other things can be added to you. Matthew 6:33

I believe a reason why many are living a non-fulfilled life is their inability to comprehend the above scripture for it is the bedrock for which our Christian journey is established. If you get that equation right, you worry less and everything else falls in place. It is as simple as that!

Life is a marketplace and God has equipped us with all the gifts and grace we need to have a successful adventure. The gifts and grace in the market side of things can be represented by our purchasing power while making rounds in the market square. We purchase what we want as long as it is within our ability. While in the spiritual aspect of things, our gifts and grace have been given to us to help us acquire all that we need to have a fulfilled journey through life. These gifts are given according to God's discretion. To some he gives five, others three and one. What matters is that we make 100% profit.

Without these two gifts, it is impossible to fulfill destiny. We have the ability to create the world we desire for ourselves rather than trying to fit into a world dictated to us by others. You can choose to sell or buy. The one who sells is the one who makes a profit, but the one who buys is the one who spends and is limited to only what is available.

As people who know the truth, we are meant to sell the truth of Christ to others, sharing the good news that Jesus already paid for a fulfilled life for us, all we need to do is believe. John 3:16. Man (Human) is complete and straight are his ways, if we do the right things adhering to the leading of the Holy Spirit, but ignorantly and quite often, stupidly we complicate life for ourselves by trying to buy what is already paid for by Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, I would say the formula is;

Find God, find yourself.

Know God, know your purpose.

Entertain God, get direction.

Love God, love yourself.

I repeat life is a marketplace. After all the hustle and the bustle that comes with buying and selling, our destination is HOME!

The question however is, where is HOME?

Is it heaven or hell?

Choose wisely that it may be worth it in the end.
