Wholeness is a Journey
Don't look down on your journey to wholeness.
I have come to realize that wholeness, healing requires surrender, surrender to God.
Jesus can heal you, he has healed you and he will heal you.
I remember a season in my life, all I could see was pain, all I was burdened with and all that consumed me and all that flowed out of me was the pain and trauma and negative experiences I had been through.
One day at work, my boss looked at me and said, Mary , you wear your pain like a badge of honor.
I was shocked and confused. I said how do you mean?
He said there is something about the way you carry yourself, you literally exude the essence of the pain and almost like you are yelling to everyone, I am in pain.
At first, when I heard this I felt some way but it began my healing journey.
There is something that we do, we carry around the aura of our negative experiences and almost literally refuse to give it to the LORD.
Whereas, giving it to him and allowing him to define us and not the experiences we have been through or we will be through will actually heal us and herald us into total wholeness.
It's time to sit with the LORD, through that situation, give that situation, experience, hurt, whatever it is to the LORD.
He can handle it!
The LORD is near to the broken-hearted.
The LORD is nearer to you even in the midst of all that, so give it to him.
Wholeness is a journey, one with going on with the LORD, because what then happens is, as he walks with you through it, he empowers you in it and establishes you as one through whom his healing and love flows through to others.
Your pain is not a waste and YET it is not to be idolized.
It is a SEED, leave it in his hands and watch him make oaks out of it.
Sit with the LORD and let him tend to your soul.
