The world is full of possibilities but only when Jesus is the driving force. If our goals are not aligned with Him, they become worthless. To preach the gospel is to be Christlike, but to become the message is to be like Christ. Only Jesus indeed knows those who truly serve Him.
It's not enough to preach the gospel; we must also operate in a realm of the Spirit that pleases God. Many of us are lost and stuck in the mud. True brokenness is the pathway to true freedom. We have to be free from ourselves to be free from the world. Can a man be free from his shadow? Only in death, and that's why we must first die to be born again. When we're at peace with the Father, we create a magical world of possibilities that knows no bounds.
However, this doesn't mean we'll have a smooth journey to fulfilment. Life isn't a bed of roses, and we must train our bodies to live without food and water; operating in the Spirit 'fast' tracks our arrival to the place of true identity, and that's when we stop existing and start living.
We live in a world of possibilities but rise and fall due to centuries of misfortunes. With true diligence, which includes hard work, honesty, and the God factor, we can become anything and everything we ever dreamed of. However, sometimes, it takes just a little drifting away to fall off the spot.
Life is deep and unexplained, but there are simple laws that govern it. Man can do right by abiding by them. We must understand, however, that in its simplicity comes havoc, chaos, greed, temptation and the monster of hypocrisy, to name a few. The easier life seems, the tougher it becomes, and that's why we need the Holy Spirit to be our driving force, ensuring a safe landing.
There would be twists and turns, despair and laughter, it's usually a blend of both; the good and the bad, the cute and the ugly. No one ever gets a smooth sail. Even with Christ present in the boat, the disciples had to wrestle with the storm. Our alignment with God only guarantees swift solutions to our problems that enable a better and promised future in Christ Jesus.
Never allow yourself to believe that your problems are all over the second you accept Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. This is a false belief that we are breeding within our church walls and one of the many reasons we are losing converts back to the world we tried to save them from. We should raise soldiers with true knowledge of what's ahead of them and not lying to them. They deserve to know the truth so they can navigate their way when faced with adversities, instead of crumbling and chickening out at the sight of them.
Confessing Christ doesn't take away problems outright, it only subjects them to solutions that sometimes take years and seasons depending on how lost we were before we were found. Salvation is only an event, brokenness takes time, and our commitment and determination to our salvation work will greatly determine how quickly we begin to reap the gains of salvation available on the communion table.
And that’s when true freedom comes.
Welcome to a world of possibilities.
