Smiles... I just couldn't help but smile until now that I'm
writing this here.
I went to have my haircut yesterday and while the barber was
doing his thing a woman walked in and looked right into my face before she
spoke and was like "I thought you are a man o", "Why are you
having your hair cut?", "Were you asked to do so in your church?"
I just was smiling and she dropped the last line "Irun
l'ewa obinrin (The Beauty of a lady is attached to her hair)"
I was like really? So if I have my hair cut, I'm not
beautiful? That could have reduced the esteem of someone tho.
There's beauty WITHIN and beauty WITHOUT as well, it's not a
bad idea to have your haircut as a lady neither is it wrong to have a beautiful
hairdo. Just do what pleases you and moderate as well.
You're beautiful and that's what I want to put out here!
Work on your beauty without but do MORE for the You WITHIN.
It's out of the abundance of who you are within that spills on your outlook,
ma.
It's okay to use make-up and all but not at the expense of
your inner you depreciating!
Dress well, spend on your outlook but INVEST on the ‘YOU'
WITHIN and become a VALUE!
It's okay to look good but it's best to be a VALUE. And this
can happen only when you take time to take care of ‘you' within and it's from
there that you SPILL to on your outside.
You are BEAUTIFUL, DEAR Sisto.
With HAIRDO or HAIRCUT.
Can you say to yourself, I AM BEAUTIFUL because it's from
WITHIN!
I pray that Light shines on your hearts as you dwell on it.
Amen.
