And Abraham wavered not at the promises of God and it was counted unto him as righteousness.
Not counted unto God, God needs us to believe in Him, not for Him but for us.
Everywhere the subject of faith was mentioned, it had a human being attached to it.
Who do you have faith in? God.
Faith is for you to receive from God.
Faith is the kingdom currency with which we trade to get things that we need and want on earth.
So what exactly is faith?
Faith is believing, believing what?
Believing that what God says to you, will come through.
Believing that the chair you sit on will not break, the chair does not need faith because part of its ability is to make you sit and be stable.
So God does not need faith, we do, we need faith to receive His promises about us.
The word talks about how a doubtful man will not receive anything from God.
Why? It takes faith to receive from God.
God has already made provisions for us pertaining to all of life and godliness, the question is do we know he has provided everything?
If you know He has already made provisions, then we must approach Him with this knowledge, not come to him as if He is just going to consider.
A lot of things that we were asked to do in the bible are actually for us, not God.
God is not insecure about His abilities to father you, we are the one's not sure of Him
We are the ones who doubt, who fear who sin
As a father, He's made provisions over 2000 plus years ago.
He does not do damage control.
He is not unaware of your needs.
He is never to be caught unaware of anything that concerns us.
Faith has a waiting period for us, wait for the promises of God.
One mindset I need you to begin to run with is this, I have all I need because I have a loving father who is so intentional about me.
In the next post, I will share my testimony on three major material provisions that I had and more about what God has provided.
Many thanks for reading!
