A phrase that best describes him is the ‘prodigal son’. I
have heard people talk about a ‘life of grace’ and Eze best describes it.
Tabernacles to the clubs he has graced with his charm, quite a
confused individual, I must say. One minute he is burning hot for the Lord, and
the next, waxing cold in a yacht somewhere in the Bahamas with a naked girl. A
very unstable life he’s lived.
Eze caused his folks' pain, brought discomfort to his loved
ones, and even more disheartening are the many he has led astray ignorantly by
his selfish ways.
Does he know God, Yes, he does.
But does he love Him, the answer to that is a big emphatic NO? You can't love someone and constantly rebel against them.
Call him a hypocrite and you just might have expressed the
mind of God. He has constantly wasted heavenly resources and destroyed more
than he could fix. It is grace and mercy he seeks this day. Lord, grant him the
desires of his heart! We ask that you have compassion!!
On this day, let your grace single him out.
On this day, let him find peace.
On this altar, we rejoice, for when the prodigal son found
his way back to his father, heaven recorded a celebration.
On this day, he matriculates as a scholar at the RCCG Bible college.
It wasn't an easy fight, but destiny made it so.
He almost gave up, but his pastor wouldn't let him.
He almost destroyed his beautiful destiny, but God wouldn't
let him.
Destiny is what it is! You can keep running all you want,
but someday it will catch up with you.
What a handful he’s been, but when grace and mercy speak,
who dare oppose?
Today, he's back on board, and the ship heads north. I hope
to see him on the other side.
I conclude...
Eze has lived a very catastrophic and empty life, but today he will reunite with purpose. It is not that enrolling in the Bible college
guarantees heaven, but without a doubt, it's a gateway to the stars and a step
in the right direction. And to you out there reading this and thinking you've
strayed too far away and there's no coming back home, the good news, however, is
that there's always a turning point in every man's life. You cannot drift too
far from God, His mercy is everlasting and knows no bounds. You can retrace your
steps back to Him. He is right there waiting with open arms.
Resolve this day to journey on the path that leads to
destiny as I render it all worthless; the things of the world and count it all
joy; the things of God.
