I am confused and I think the entire world is confused too because we all seem to be fighting a demon we do not understand. No one knows where we are heading and our leaders whom we have trusted to guide us for a long time seem to need guiding themselves.
These are truly perilous times but I know someone who knows the way we should go, in fact, that person I know is "THE WAY" (John14:16). JESUS tells us that He is the way, the truth and the life. When you are not sure which way to go, why not come to Jesus, the One who is the way not only is He the way but He is truth and even the life we need especially in these times.
Lately, I have been thinking about how many people I have lost to Covid 19 and it is truly devastating. I have lost loved ones and sometimes I still cry because I miss them but what scares me the most is that no one knows where they are now. The bible says in Hebrews 9:27 that it is appointed unto man to die once and after that is judgement. This is truly scary because judgement has only two outcomes, HEAVEN or HELL!
HEAVEN promises us an eternal life of glory with the saints of God walking on the streets of gold where there will be no pain, no sorrow, no sickness (Rev 21:4) but we know that HELL is a horrible place with maggots that never die and fire that never goes out (Mark 9:48). I don't think that is anybody forever dreams.
God has gone to great lengths to make sure that we all make it to HEAVEN but we have to do a little something to make sure that His efforts don't go to waste. John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is Lord.
If you have tried all that you know and you still don't know the way, why not try Jesus. All you need to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9).
It is that SIMPLE!
A PRAYER FOR REPENTANCE:
If you want to follow Jesus say this simple prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Lord and I confess with my mouth that you are my Lord. Come into my heart and teach me your ways. Forgive my sins and make me a new creation ready for heaven in Jesus name I pray. AMEN!
