We had no intention to defile our marital bed, I missed him
so much and all I wanted was to behold his handsome face and feel his presence
around me. Truly, he did my but it was like the
devil was on our case that evening. We had lunch at an expensive restaurant and
watched an interesting movie at a cinema, by the time we were done, it was 6 pm.
The normal thing was for us to go to our houses but just as
I said, the devil was on our case. I suggested that he walk me to my house
after which he walk back to his and he agreed, something he had never agreed to
all through the period of our because we were
bent on remaining sexually pure till we tied the knot. Getting to my room which
I shared with my friend, Caleb claimed he was tired and would like to have some
rest before going home. I agreed to that idea and we both sat on my cushion
chair locked in each other's arms feeling each other's heartbeat.
Then it suddenly started with this feeling of wanting to be
kissed by him and to think the feeling was mutual. It started as a harmless
kiss and a few minutes later, we couldn't stop crying. Alas! We had eaten the
forbidden fruit, we had soiled our bed. At
that moment, I realized the Holy Spirit had been preventing me from going to
see Caleb that day but my desire to have him around me superseded.
If there is one thing the devil will keep fighting, it is
being sexually pure, you know why? God cherishes couples who didn't defile
their matrimonial bed, he knows that God will only go into the marriage with
them when the marital bed isn't defiled.
Couples who get married without soiling their matrimonial
bed with sexual activities usually experience an all-around increase. The devil
who doesn't want couples to experience this won't stop bringing sexual across their path. That is why intending
couples must be prayerful, filled with the Word of God, and abstain from every
appearance of evil.
Yes, we know that you had no intention to have pre-marital
sex but you shouldn't be found in lonely paths and behind closed doors. You may
think you are strong enough to resist sexual temptation but you need to realize
that when you are in love, there will be this desire to want to touch and feel
your partner.
It is you flee to avoid
stories that touch. After the wedding, you will have the liberty to touch and
do whatever pleases you with your husband or wife. But before then, let's keep
waging war against pre-marital sex. We won't fall in Jesus' name.
