God's Dwelling Place

God's Dwelling Place

What’s a dwelling place?
It's a place you dwell in, a place you live in. So many people dwell in the wrong places. For instance, some people dwell in the church with false prophets, some in the houses of spouses they are not married to yet and some in the arms of their adulterous partners.

Basically, many take the wrong places as their dwelling place. Now the question is this, where do you dwell? Where is your source of power, your place of worship, your place of rest? The Bible says in the Book of Psalm 91:1 that those who live in the shelter of the Highest will find rest in the shadow of The Almighty. The secret place of the Highest is a place of righteousness, a place of safety, a place of holiness, and dwelling in other places brings nothing but calamity, curses, and death.

To dwell in the secret place of the Most High, you must be holy according to the Scripture 1 Peter 1:15-16 which says, “But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is Holy. For the Scripture say, “You must be holy because I am holy”. Even the Book of Psalm 24:3-4, says, “Who may climb the mountain of the Lord, who may stand in His holy place, only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies”.

To dwell in God’s secret place, you have to live a life of holiness. I pray that as many of you that are sleeping spiritually, may The Almighty wake you up today In Jesus' Name.

In 2 Samuel 12:11 and 18, David dwelled in adultery and he lost his son. Also in the Book of Genesis, Cain dwelled in envy. He dwelled in selfishness, human strength and he became a vagabond. Finally, in the Book of 1 Samuel 15:3, 9, and 23, Saul dwelled in disobedience and he lost his throne.

Brethren, where do you dwell? Are you dwelling in all these places that bring about destruction or dwelling in God’s everlasting peace? For every one that dwells in the secret place of the Most High, they have a permanent place of rest and peace. A place of joy, eternity is theirs.

When my pen bleeds, expressions are kept close to my heart, and as it bleeds the words from deep within through my writings, I discover I have created art. I display a piece of my soul. This is my work, my blood, and it should be an object of pride, no matter how much it is criticized or praised.
