It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, because there is no effort without errors or shortcomings, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself for a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.

When you stay focused on your purpose, not your problem, you can be happy even when life seems to be falling apart. Let me be clear, the focus has nothing to do with what you stare at and everything to do with what you refuse to be distracted by.

Do not be like the cat who wanted a fish but was afraid to get his paws wet. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck. So...

Go all out and give all you've got to achieve your goals and aspirations, they are achievable.

Choose to focus your time, energy and conversation around people who inspire you, support you and help you to grow into your happiest, strongest, wisest self.

Success doesn't happen by accident; people don't just get "lucky." Success is created, and, just as importantly, once obtained, it must be managed and protected.

You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
