I've lived long enough and known my God well enough to know He's faithful enough to have replacements for those who think they're too important to do that which He has assigned them to do. If God has chosen you to carry out a particular assignment, that's because He has honored you, there's nothing special about you that can't be done by a million others He has created, grace only qualified you to, and the minute you allow it get into your head and think you're God, you won't only be replaced but headed for destruction.
Unfortunately, this doesn't leave out our dear pastors and spiritual leaders. As a matter of fact, they happen to be the most-guilty of it all and can only pray the good Lord will continue to have mercy upon us and give us the grace to amend our ways before they lead us to hell.
If God has blessed you, either with spiritual or physical endowments just to name a few, it's for the singular reason that others are blessed by it. What good is it when you're the DANGOTEs of our time and we don't have a single pitch of salt in our home and can't afford a bag of cement to amend the crack on our walls?
No man can play God in my life because I'm serving a God who never fails. When man fails, God stands in the gap for His children. He's just too faithful to be associated with such. Even the Bible makes me understand that God cherishes His Word more than His name. If He has said it, He's faithful enough to do it. And most times when it seems He hasn't done that which He has promised to do, it's because those who He has assigned to do it decided to play God in our lives and have His authority questioned.
The greatest men are yet to be born so if you think you've got billions and trillions of dollar bills beckoning at your command, wait till the next set of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg are born. And if you still think you're the most anointed and can make a car drive through the TV by just the lifting up of your hands, then you really don't know the God you claim you serve because the Bibles makes us understand in the book of Joel 2:28 that our young men would see visions, if you understand where I'm going with that.
You can't begin to fathom what more would be done that hasn't be done, so why allow the privileges bestowed upon you get to your head and most importantly, in the way of the 1% of His wonderful works that could have been appropriated to you for a job well done. Even the so-called beauty queen He has led you to date that thinks she's way out of your league can be replaced with a lady twice as beautiful and mannered than she is and will ever be if you know who you are and the God that you serve.
If He has chosen you, it's so you can build others up and makes them greater than you. What good is a father who is greater than his children? What legacy are you leaving behind for those who have served you all their lives and looking on to you as their role model? Have you helped them become the best version of themselves or just to have them wash your Lincoln so they take the bus back home to their family who is not even guaranteed the next meal?
God has sent helpers to me who ended up playing God in my life but rather than allow their ignorance take my eyes off the icing on the cake, I've learnt to acknowledge God in my life and ask for a replacement because, at the end of the day, they have all to lose, not me. The truth is, His work will be done no matter what. If you've refused to do it, someone else will.
If God has positioned you in a particular place to meet someone's need, either spiritually or financially to name only but a few, do it with all gratitude. You know, life travels in circles, the fact you're balling today is not a guarantee that you won't be the one picking the balls tomorrow. Don't play God in any man's life. Let God be who He is and be the one He has chosen to carry out His work on earth and the blessings attached to your being obedient would be fully appropriated in Jesus name. Compliments!
