The Act Of Forgiveness

The Act Of Forgiveness

One of the best ways to appreciate God's creation is to love them. Forgiveness is the only ingredient to make our love known to the world, and it’s a conscious and deliberate decision to release those who have offended us in one way or another way.

As believers, we ought to follow and reflect on the act of forgiveness in our lives. Because, when we don’t forgive our offenders, our heavenly father won’t forgive us as well (derived from The Lord’s prayer). Also, when we don’t forgive our offenders, we tend to remain bitter, and not forgiving them causes us more harm than good. Not forgiving our offenders could hinder us from accessing more health, promotion, blessings, favour, etc.

Forgiveness is a long time and continual process that we must undergo.

Forgiveness is not about forgetting what has happened, but it’s about choosing to let go of the pain and hurt someone might have caused us.

Despite this, Joseph was being sold as a slave, yet he waited for a time to reunite with his brothers. If not so, he wouldn’t have welcomed them when he met them. When you forgive, you’re saving God's generation from perishing, and also you’re doing yourself good when you forgive.

I hope you had a glorious time reading this.

When my pen bleeds, expressions are kept close to my heart, and as it bleeds the words from deep within through my writings, I discover I have created art. I display a piece of my soul. This is my work, my blood, and it should be an object of pride, no matter how much it is criticized or praised.
